TWO months on from being orphaned at birth, 10 puppies are finally settling into their forever homes with their new families.
Two months after their mother died just hours after they were born and the Vizsla puppies were taken in by Hereford and Worcester Animal Rescue, they are thriving.
The puppies captured the love of thousands in Herefordshire and Worcestershire, including many Worcester News and Hereford Times readers.
Within a few hours of opening the lines for adoption, Hereford and Worcester Animal Rescue had received over 140 applications, but only 10 families could welcome one of the adorable puppies into their home.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Animal Rescue said: “Our puppies are settling beautifully into their new families.
“We continue to receive fantastically positive updates daily and it sounds like they have all got their perfect little paws comfortably under the table.”

Almost all of the puppies have been homed with families who are experienced with taking care of Vizsla dogs.
Two of the puppies, Goose and Junie, have stayed with the families who fostered them in the weeks after they were born, something the rescue centre was delighted with.
The spokesperson added: “We just cannot wait to see what the future holds for these adorable little monsters.”
