TWO cars have been badly damaged after a crash in Worcester.
One lane of the A44 Whittington Road, heading towards the M5, was blocked after a crash involving a blue Citroen and a maroon Vauxhall at around 7am this morning (Thursday).
The Citroen has suffered significant damage its bodywork on the front left side of the car.
The hatchback’s windscreen was also smashed.
The Vauxhall had sustained the most serious damage to its rear right bumper, and the exhaust system could be seen hanging off the car’s chassis.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: “The road was closed for a short time to allow for the vehicles to be recovered.
“No one was seriously injured, however, a child was taken to hospital as a precaution.”
