Housebuilder offers £10,000 towards purchase of homes at three sites

A housebuilder is offering £10,000 towards the purchase of a new home.

Kendrick Homes is also offering up to £2,000 in legal fee support as part of a limited-time incentive at three of its Worcestershire developments.

The offer is available at Ambridge Fields in Inkberrow, Severn Meadows in Upton upon Severn, and Cygnets Rest in Drakes Broughton.

The deal is part of an open weekend event, with the first taking place this weekend on April 11-12, and a second event scheduled for April 18-19.

Kirsty Darby, head of sales at Kendrick Homes, said: “We are not just about bricks and mortar, we’re instead focused on creating thriving communities that fit in with the local character.

“This is reflected in what we are building at Ambridge Fields, Severn Meadows and Cygnets Rest and these two consecutive open weekends will give buyers a first look at the show homes and the chance to benefit from a one-off £10,000 payment if they reserve on Saturday or Sunday.

“It’s a very difficult market out there at the moment and we want to support people with the best advice (through our ‘First Time Buyer’ helpline) and a financial incentive to help ease some of the burden associated with moving home.”

The incentive is part of Kendrick Homes’ broader effort to support buyers during what it describes as a “volatile property market.”

The company launched a ‘First Time Buyer’ helpline last month.

Each of the Worcestershire sites offers a mix of rural tranquillity and urban accessibility, with homes designed to combine classic architecture, modern technology, and energy-saving features.

The Ambridge Fields development in Inkberrow includes 20 homes ranging from two to five bedrooms.

The completed Earlswood property is described as a “fantastic example of a true family home.”

Severn Meadows, located in the riverside town of Upton-upon-Severn, offers 42 homes with views across the Malvern Hills.

The three-bedroom Birley show home will be open for the first time this weekend.

Ms Darby said: “We also have Discounted Open Market Value homes coming to the market at Severn Meadows within the next couple of weeks.

“These will be specifically for people who live or work locally, which is an important point for us.

“We want to give them a realistic route into home ownership in the area.”
