ICELAND has revealed more details of the opening day of its new Droitwich store.
Over recent weeks, work has been underway at the former Poundland site in St Andrews Square Shopping Centre, and the new supermarket is now just days away from opening.
The chain has said there will be a variety of prizes up for grabs for the store’s first customers on opening day.
Iceland will be giving away £1,500 worth of vouchers to the first 150 customers in the queue.

Additional prize winners will be drawn, with prizes to include Tower air fryers.
The store will then officially be opened at 8am on Tuesday, April 21.
It’s estimated that the opening will create approximately 22 new jobs
“We’re excited to be opening our new store in Droitwich, bringing even more fantastic deals and a brilliant range of frozen, grocery and fresh foods to local shoppers,” said Kristian Barrett, chief operating officer at Iceland Foods
