National awards put Worcestershire attractions in the spotlight

SEVERAL Worcestershire attractions have been shortlisted for national honours after VisitEngland unveiled the finalists for its 2026 Awards for Excellence.

Across the 16 core categories, Worcestershire businesses are listed throughout and make up a good proportion of the overall 53 finalists.

Each business was hand-picked as a finalist by tourism experts.

The most mentioned Worcestershire business on the list is Attwell Farm Park on the outskirts of Redditch.

The children’s farm was shortlisted for both the Accessible & Inclusive Tourism Award and the Large Visitor Attraction of the Year.

Over near Evesham, Bredon View Glamping Retreats was listed as a finalist for Best Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park of the Year.

Worcestershire was also mentioned in the category for best Self-Catering Accommodation of the Year, with Rowley Farm Holidays in Holt Heath being shortlisted.

The Morgan Experience in Malvern will also be ready to battle it out for best Small Visitor Attraction of the Year at the award ceremony on June 3 in Bristol.

VisitEngland Director Andrew Stokes said: “These awards honour the very best businesses and individuals in tourism, who are the driving force in an industry that delivers growth to local economies across England.

“I thank them for their dedicated service, congratulate them on achieving finalist status and wish them every success.”

The 53 finalists, selected following a rigorous judging process by handpicked tourism industry experts, will now go on to compete in 16 core categories at this year’s awards.

“There will also be three special awards, including the ‘Outstanding Contribution to Tourism Award’, the ‘Travel Content Award’ and the ‘Tourism Superstar Award’.”
