Town centre bar set to relaunch with ‘more relaxed and social’ offering

A bar in Bewdley is set to relaunch with a “more relaxed and social” approach to its dining and drinks.

The Bailiffs on High Street is entering a new phase and will be working closely with renowned chef Mike Bullard as part of its revamp.

The bar said the relaunch will see a “renewed focus on quality sourcing and a more relaxed, social approach to dining and drinks”.

This includes an updated menu and a commitment to using local suppliers, including sourcing its meat from Andrew Francis butchers.

Commenting on the reasons behind the changes, a spokesperson for The Bailiffs said: “To create somewhere people can drop into as easily for a drink as they can for a full meal without compromising on quality.”

The venue is now open with the new menu and experiences rolling out across the coming week.

The updated main menu will be served on Friday and Saturday evenings, showcasing a more refined selection of dishes built around “carefully sourced ingredients”.

Alongside the food, The Bailiffs has reimagined its cocktail menu, introducing a selection of updated classics and house creations suited to both casual drinks and late evenings.

The bar will remain open to walk-ins, offering an option for guests unable to secure a table.

Sundays are also getting a fresh focus by moving away from the traditional format.

This sits alongside the launch of its “Sunday Social” – a relaxed, European-inspired experience featuring artisan pastries, supplied by Levain and Cherry, served in a laid-back setting.

The team said: “The relaunch reflects a broader shift towards a more considered yet accessible experience, bringing together quality ingredients, local collaborations, and a space designed to be enjoyed throughout the day and into the evening.”
