More than 150 runners completed a 10-mile trail race through the Worcestershire countryside.
The Martley Madness event, organised by Worcestershire Trailblazers, took place on Sunday, April 19, and featured a scenic route filled with bluebells, wild garlic, and climbs up Rodge Hill from both directions.
Organisers were praised for the course, marking, atmosphere, and eco-friendly medals with some participants saying it was one of the best races they have ever entered.
All finishers were treated to fruit and homemade cake at the finish line, in keeping with the event’s inclusive and friendly ethos.
Nicola Dusterhoff posted online: “Thank you for an absolutely wonderful race.
“What a beautiful route, flawless organisation and the cake!!!”
