WORCESTER City Council has issued an important reminder on local elections.
With elections taking place in other parts of the country next month, the council has reminded residents that none are scheduled in the city.

“The city council’s elections team has received a number of enquiries from Worcester residents asking whether elections are taking place in the city this year,” a spokesperson said.
“To clarify, there are no elections scheduled in Worcester next month.”
Following boundary changes, 35 councillors were elected to Worcester City Council for a four year term.
