Worcester families wanted for new TV series

Worcester families are wanted to take part in a TV series aiming to improve the nation’s eating habits.

Channel 4 has announced the return of What Not To Eat, led by Professor Tim Spector and Dr Kandi Ejiofor, who help families understand the impact of eating ultra-processed foods, share nutritious alternatives to junk food, and show what to shop, cook and eat.

The show is seeking households of at least two people who want to overhaul their diets and make better food choices.

Tim Spector said: “Dr Kandi and I can’t wait to help more people understand their diets better, reduce the impact of ultra-processed foods, and find out how to make simple swaps when they shop, that will ultimately improve their health.”

What Not To Eat launched with 1.7 million viewers to episode one, the most-watched new series in the 8pm slot since Handmade: Britain’s Best Woodworker in 2021.
