School business professionals from across Worcestershire gathered to celebrate a decade of progress and collaboration.
Worcestershire Association of School Business Management (WASBM) held its 10th annual conference at Sixways Stadium, welcoming around 120 delegates on April 24 under the theme Smart Schools, Strong Future.
The event recognised leadership, professional development, and achievement within the sector, alongside recent successes such as Kaye James being named Worcestershire’s first-ever School Business Manager of the Year at the Worcestershire Education Awards.
Russell Dalton, chair of WASBM, said: “This year’s conference was a true celebration, not only of our 10th annual event, but of the incredible achievements of School Business Professionals across Worcestershire.
“From national recognition to local impact, it is clear that our profession continues to grow in strength and influence.
“The theme ‘Smart Schools, Strong Future’ perfectly captured the spirit of the day and it was inspiring to see such energy, collaboration and commitment from everyone involved.
“We are proud to support such a dedicated and forward-thinking community.”
