A Worcestershire business has pledged its support for the county’s cricket club.
Network Power Connections, based in Worcester, has become a Local Champion for Worcestershire County Cricket Club, joining just four other businesses at this level of backing.
The company will also sponsor Worcestershire Rapids men’s opener Jake Libby for this season.
Jon Miles, operations director at Network Power Connections, said: “As a Worcestershire-based business, it’s great to support a club that plays such an important role in the community.
“We’re also pleased to be sponsoring batter Jake Libby this season, backing both the team and individual talent on the field.
“Supporting organisations that bring people together and represent the region is something we truly value, and we’re looking forward to following the team throughout the season.”
Mr Libby, who joined the club in 2020, has become a key figure at the top of the order and is well regarded for his consistency with the bat.
Worcestershire County Cricket Club, one of 18 first-class county clubs in England and Wales, has a long and proud cricketing tradition.
The club is a central part of the community and maintains strong connections with residents and businesses across the county.
Network Power Connections is headquartered at Lowesmoor Wharf in Worcester.
The company operates nationally, providing full-service electrical connection solutions from design to delivery.
It works with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), Independent Distribution Network Operators (IDNOs), Building Network Operators (BNOs), and operators of private electrical networks.
The business prides itself on delivering high-quality electrical connections for clients across the country.
It said its new partnership with the cricket club reflects a broader commitment to supporting regional organisations that play a key role in community life.
By becoming a Local Champion, Network Power Connections joins a select group of businesses helping to strengthen the club’s impact both on and off the field.
