POLICE caught 20 drivers speeding on a single road in Malvern but none were handed tickets.
PC Alicja Sliwka and PC Charlie Farmer stationed themselves on Guarlford Road on Thursday (May 14) and speed checked approximately 200 drivers, with 20 of them found to be “slightly” above the speed limit.
As the speeds did not meet the threshold for prosecution, officers gave drivers “educational leaflets” rather than speeding tickets.

Earlier in the day, they had also carried out speed checks on 107 drivers outside Madresfield School and found only one vehicle to be above the speed limit.
This driver was also given a leaflet.
“Officers carry out similar operations on a regular basis at various locations around the Malvern Hills Policing area,” a spokesperson for Malvern Hills Police said.
“It’s reassuring when we have days like this when we don’t have to give out tickets but all too often it is not the case.”
