A RACE in a village has been hailed as a “massive success”, with more than £5,000 raised.
Children were encouraged to swap gadgets for green spaces and take part in the Suckley Quarter Marathon.

The event was organised in collaboration with Suckley Primary School.
£5,646.56 was raised and will be split between Suckley School, SPACE in Suckley, Bromyard Community First Responders, Onside and Matthew Notley CRY (cardiac risk in the young fundraiser).

“Our primary focus is to get children moving and enjoying the outdoors,” said Lily Price, race director.
“We want to make exercise a natural, joyful part of their lives”. To ensure a memorable experience, the course featured music, dancing, and marshals dressed in inflatable costumes.”
