Worcester charities and projects can apply for share of £3.5m fund

A fresh round of funding is now available to help community projects in Worcester.

Co-op is inviting charities and groups to apply for a share of its £3.5 million Local Community Fund.

Support is offered for projects focused on access to food, mental wellbeing, youth opportunities, community cohesion and sustainability.

The fund has helped 40,000 causes nationally since it began.

David Luckin, head of social value and community engagement at Co-op, said: “Beginning the search for new local causes to take part in a fresh round of funding is always exciting.”
