A NEW gym set up by a man who quit his job managing a major UK supermarket chain to fulfil his dream has opened.
Olivier Michaut, who used to be an area manager at Lidl, has opened his new concept gym, Transforn Hub, at Kempsey Eco Business Park.
The 45-year-old decided to step out of retail and into fitness after a lifelong passion for combining his love of sport with his love of talking to people.

Mr Michaut has a background in playing various sports in his free time alongside his former job, but has always dreamed of running his own business.
What is at the new gym in Kempsey?
The new gym opens into a reception area that leads directly onto the main gym floor, and throughout the space, modern tech displays are mounted on the walls.
Members will have access to two bathrooms with showers, as well as a separate accessible bathroom.

A spare room within the building may be available to rent, offering flexibility for classes or additional services.
Upstairs, the space also includes offices and a small kitchenette.
There is also a dedicated seating area overlooking the gym floor, offering visitors a comfortable spot to relax.
“It is designed to get people results,” Mr Michaut said.
“The concept isn’t just about you coming and doing a workout, but very much based on preparing nutrition plans for every kind of client, which is tailor-made to the results you want.”
