Bottles is first Worcester venue to land Best Bar None recognition

A WORCESTER wine bar has become the first venue in the city to achieve Best Bar None accreditation for 2026.

Bottles has landed the Home Office-supported honour which recognises excellence in responsible hospitality.

The national scheme promotes high standards in licensed venues to improve safety and customer experience in the night-time economy.

A spokesman for Bottles said: “We are absolutely buzzing that Bottles is now officially the first venue in Worcester to receive Best Bar None Accreditation for 2026.

“A huge thank you to the whole Bottles team for making this happen.

“What a moment for us and for Worcester.”

Located in New Street, in the heart of the city, Bottles is an independent, family-run wine bar owned by Joanna and Jordan Crum.

The venue has built a reputation for its welcoming atmosphere and commitment to high standards of customer care and safety.

Best Bar None assesses venues across a range of criteria, including staff training, customer safety, and policies to reduce alcohol-related harm.

By achieving accreditation, Bottles has set a new standard for hospitality in the city.

Worcester Business Improvement District (BID), which supports the scheme locally, is now encouraging other city centre venues to follow Bottles’ lead and undertake the assessment.

A spokesman for Worcester BID said: “We are incredibly proud to see local venues leading by example, and we look forward to celebrating many more accredited Worcester businesses throughout the year.”
