A MAN has avoided immediate jail time after assaulting a police officer.
Adam Badi, 33, appeared in court, accused of assaulting PC McKallin Skinner during an incident in Worcester last month.
He pleaded guilty and was sentenced at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (July 21).

Badi, of Barr Street in Birmingham, was handed a 12 week prison sentence, which has been suspended for 12 months.
The court said a custodial sentence was necessary due to Badi’s “flagrant disregard for court orders”.
