A shocked driver ended up with her car stacked on top of another in a dramatic crash involving a motorbike.
The collision happened at Listers car dealership on Ombersley Road in Worcester at around 3pm on Monday as witnesses described hearing ‘massive bangs’. Some watched the drama unfold from the beer garden of the New Inn opposite the crash scene.
A blue SEAT Ibiza left the road after the crash, hit a low wall and another parked SEAT vehicle before coming to rest on top of a white Cupra. The female driver of the car remained inside for some time.
Meanwhile, the ex-partner of the 46-year-old rider said he had suffered minor injuries.
His grey motorbike also showed damage as West Mercia Police closed the road in both directions.

People in the New Inn pub described hearing ‘a bang’ but nobody had seen the crash itself. Officers did not let us go near the dealership for safety reasons while accident investigators and later two recovery vehicles attended the scene. An officer indicated staff at the dealership did not want to speak to the reporter at the scene.

Penny Paris, who lives close by, said: “I heard two massive bangs and the sound of screeching.”
Multiple police vehicles, ambulances and a fire engine arrived at the scene, and the air ambulance could be seen hovering overhead but was not needed.

Traffic was diverted down Whinfield Road or Colin Road opposite near the New Inn pub, while vehicles travelling in the opposite direction were rerouted onto Grange Avenue.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: “We were called at around 3.02pm today (Monday 27 July) to reports of a collision on Ombersley Road in Worcester.
“This is an ongoing incident, and emergency services remain at the scene.”
West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed it also responded.
A spokesperson said: “We were called to reports of an RTC on Ombersley Road in Worcester at 2.25pm and sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance to the scene.
“The driver of the car, a woman, was assessed before being discharged at the scene.”
