A charity walk has raised more than £1,200 for Acorns Children’s Hospice.
Colleagues from property consultancy Fisher German’s Worcester, Hereford and Birmingham offices completed a 9.3-mile trek across the Malvern Hills, conquering 17 summits for the charity, which provides care for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
The hospice cares for more than 800 children and 1,100 families each year, offering services including clinically supported stays, pain and symptom management, and end-of-life care.
Rhiannon Barton, marketing manager at Fisher German and organiser of the walk, said: “It was lovely to spend time with colleagues away from our desks and do something positive for a charity we supported as part of our leg of the Big 25 challenge in 2025.
“It’s important to us to keep that relationship going and continue supporting the incredible work Acorns Children’s Hospice does in the local area.”
The walk began at Chase End and ended at North Hill, including a stop at British Camp for lunch.
Most team members completed the full route, while a few joined for sections.
The team’s efforts continue Fisher German’s support for Acorns, following their ‘Big 25’ charity challenge last year, which involved travelling between all 25 offices using only non-motorised transport and raised more than £55,000 for various charities.
