Last chance to visit popular restaurant chain as permanent closure just weeks away

A POPULAR restaurant chain with two locations in Worcestershire is now just weeks away from permanent closure.

Beefeater will be permanently closing all its restaurants on September 10, including in Evesham and Redditch.

The mass closures are part of Whitbread’s major restructuring plan and have put around 3,800 jobs at risk.

There is now less than a month left to enjoy the chain at its two Worcestershire locations.

The move follows Whitbread’s decision to focus on its Premier Inn business, with plans to convert some restaurant sites into hotel rooms and sell off property assets as part of a new five-year growth strategy.

Worcester’s Three Pears Beefeater near Sixways had already closed as part of earlier rounds of restructuring, with the site earmarked for conversion into additional Premier Inn accommodation.
