SERIOUS criminal cases have been postponed in Worcester as a court has been forced to close temporarily.
Worcester Crown Court on Foregate Street closed on Tuesday, September 1, due to a problem with the water supply.

“Crown court is closed today due to an issue with the water supply,” a member of court staff told the Worcester News.
Cases that were due to be heard on Tuesday included plea hearings, sentencings and trials for alleged crimes, such as sexual offences and drug offences.
These are now due to be rescheduled.
