Audi driver clocked at more than 90mph on busy A-road

AN Audi driver was clocked at more than 90mph as he sped along a dual carriageway near Worcester.

Evan Johnson, 22, was caught at 96mph by manned speeding equipment that had been set up in the 70mph stretch of the A449 at Ombersley.

He pleaded guilty to speeding at Worcester Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, September 2, where he was fined £533 and given six points on his licence.

Johnson, of Beaconhill Drive in Worcester, was also ordered to pay £130 in costs and a £213 surcharge.
