The Fleece has a packed line-up of events planned for September and October, with live music, dancing, art and plenty more.
They begin with the Wyrd Folk Festival on Sunday, September 6, which will be hosted in the barn and orchard.
This event will feature folklore, talks, music, makers, and Morris dancing.
The Fleece’s first Open Mic Night, featuring Em and Jamie from Crisp Addiction, will take place on Wednesday, September 9, at 8pm.

Performers of all styles and experience levels are welcome, from solo artists and duos to bands playing covers or original material.
On Thursday, September 10, The Fleece will host its monthly ceilidh night with a Back to School theme. The event is open to everyone whether a seasoned dancer or beginner.

Tai Chi sessions will be held on Thursdays, September 10, 17, and 24, at 2pm.
These sessions, suitable for beginners and all abilities, focus on gentle movement, breathing, and wellbeing.
A Sip & Paint event is scheduled for Monday, September 14, at 7pm, where guests can join Brush Party, the Paint and Sip experts, to create a ‘Funky Moo’ themed canvas and enjoy a fun evening.
The folk traditions continue throughout the month as Pebworth Morris will also return to The Fleece for practice sessions and the pub hosts a free Molly, Border, and Shanty Afternoon on Sunday, September 27 from 2pm to 4pm.

Hosted by Fleece-based Asum Gras Molly and Elemental Border Morris, it will feature Border Morris and Molly dancing, with added shanties.
US quartet Windborne will be playing on Tuesday, September 29, at 8pm. Described as “the most exciting vocal group in a generation”, they are known for their harmonies and vocal traditions from across the world.
The new autumn menu arrives in September, featuring plenty of local produce including Cotswold Gold rapeseed oil from the Vale of Evesham. The wine list will also be refreshed too.
Save October 9-11 for the Apple & Ale event when apples from the orchard will be pressed to make this year’s Ark cider.
In October, the Fleecey Folk series continues with Miguel Girão on Thursday, October 1, at 8pm, Chloe Matharu on Thursday, October 8, at 8pm, and Breabach on Tuesday, October 13, at 8pm.
The Autumn Ceilidh will take place on Thursday, October 15, at 7.30pm.
Another Sip & Paint event will be held on Monday, October 19, at 7pm.

The Fleecey Folk event with Chris While & Julie Matthews is on Tuesday, October 20, at 8pm, and Eleanor Dunsdon & Gregor Black will perform on Thursday, October 29, at 8pm.
The Fleece Inn is a finalist in several awards, including Great British Pub Awards Country Pub of the Year Finalists 2026 and BII Licensee of the Year 2026 Finalist – Nigel Smith.
The Fleece is also saying goodbye to some of the team ‘as they head off to new starts’ this September and recruiting new staff for its front-of-house ‘Fleecey family’ for 25 to 35 hours a week. Contact the pub for more details.
