A National Trust site will open to visitors for free later this month.
Croome Court, near Worcester, will offer free entry from September 14 to September 18 as part of Heritage Open Days 2026.
Visitors can attend between 9am and 5pm each day, with special opportunities including access to the house and garden tours, as well as a preview inside the Panorama Tower.
A National Trust spokesperson said: “The National Trust is offering free entry to Croome from Monday 14 September – Friday 18 September inclusive (9am – 5pm each day), including house and garden tours and a sneak peek inside the Panorama Tower.
“Celebrating the wonderful and varied history of Croome, for Heritage Open Week, we will be hosting a range of free events.”

What will be available at National Trust Croome?
On Monday, September 14, an introductory house tour will take place at 12pm and 2pm. A Behind the Scenes Tour is scheduled for 12.45pm, while Most Secret: History of RAF Defford starts at 11am.
Tuesday’s programme includes introductory house tours at 12pm and 2pm, a Behind the Scenes Collections Tour at 12.45pm, and a Compost Talk at 11.30am. Spaces are limited for the collections tour and can be booked on the day.
On Wednesday, September 16, visitors can join house tours, a collections tour at 12.45pm and a garden tour at 11am. The Panorama Tower will also be open from 12pm to 2.30pm.
Thursday’s events include house tours, a Robert Adam House Tour at 12.45pm, a garden tour at 11am and a Compost Talk at 11.30am.
On Friday, September 18, house tours will run at 12pm and 2pm, followed by a Behind the Scenes Tour at 12.45pm. Most Secret: History of RAF Defford starts at 11am.

Croome is one of dozens of locations across Worcestershire hosting free events and open days from September 11 to September 20 for Heritage Open Days 2026.
The site has taken part in previous years of the cultural celebration.
