THE speed of a biker who landed a £900 fine on a busy road in Worcester has been revealed.
Florin Nagy, 33, was slapped with the fine at Redditch Magistrates’ Court after the speed camera on Rainbow Hill caught him breaking the 30mph limit.
He had been riding a CF Moto bike at the time and was travelling up the steep hill in the direction of Blackpole.
The court has now confirmed that he had been riding at 53mph.
Nagy, of Avon Road, Worcester, pleaded guilty to the single count of speeding last week, and was banned from driving for 21 days, in addition to the fine.
He was also ordered to pay £200 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a surcharge of £360.

How are speeding fines decided?
The maximum sentence for speeding on roads that aren’t motorways is £1,000.
The fine amount is based on what the speed limit was and how much the person was driving over the limit. It is then calculated as a percentage of the defendant’s weekly income.
According to the Sentencing Council, fines may be reduced if the driver pleads guilty, has no previous convictions, and if they can prove they were speeding due to a genuine emergency.
