A WOMAN has been sentenced after she intimidated a victim in a harassment case.
Danielle Axford, of Canterbury Road, Worcester, was handed a suspended sentence at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (September 3) for the intimidation of a witness or juror.
The 37-year-old sent messages to the victim of a harassment offence from the account of the man who has since admitted to the offence, with the intention of intimidating her and obstructing or interfering the investigation into the offence.
Having previously admitted to the offence at a hearing in Worcester Magistrates’ Court in July, Axford was handed a four-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months.

The magistrates noted that Axford’s offences should a flagrant disregard for others, but chose to suspend it due to a realistic prospect of rehabilitation.
She was also handed an order to complete 40 hours of unpaid work.
