An update has been issued on a police probe at Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm.
Thames Valley Police has released a new statement on its investigation into the theft of 11 sheep at the Oxfordshire farm, almost two weeks after it was first reported.
The 66-year-old former Top Gear host said he discovered the animals were missing in early September when he went to count his flock in Chadlington with co-star Kaleb Cooper.
He then told those responsible to “put them back” in an interview with The Sun, as he said: “The police have been very good, actually.
“Once you go through 700 hours of recorded messages, I got through to a girl.
“I said, ‘I know it’s going to sound like I’m from 1856, but I’ve had some sheep stolen’.”

Mr Clarkson added: “It’s a farm. We’re armed. Just so they know. It p***es me off. Honestly, it just pisses me off.”
The star of hit Amazon series Clarkson’s Farm told The Sun that the sheep were worth more than £2,000 at market, and added that he was worried some in other fields of his farm may have also been stolen.
Now, on Tuesday, September 15, police has revealed that the sheep have not been located as the force’s investigations continue.
A spokesperson said: “The sheep have not been located and our investigation is ongoing.
“We would continue to appeal for any information that may help us with our enquiries, and this can be reported via our website, by calling 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting reference number 43260457181.”
