A NEW eco-friendly business park is already full, as plans for its expansion are underway.
Kempsey Eco Business Park, located on the southern edge of Kempsey, is a 2.5-acre development offering high-quality commercial space in the Malvern Hills district.
The site features a mix of retail and light-industrial units designed for modern businesses.

Since opening, all of its retail units are now full, with more set to be built towards the start of October.
Cllr Daniel Walton, portfolio holder for economic development at Malvern Hills District Council, said: “It is really encouraging to see Kempsey Eco Business Park successfully opening and attracting businesses.

“New commercial developments of this quality are important to the local economy because they give businesses more choice and, importantly, provide the space they need to start up, expand and create employment.
“The development also complements the direction of travel set out in the South Worcestershire Development Plan Review, which allocates various new additional employment sites across the district to support economic growth over the coming years.”
What businesses are already at Kempsey Eco Business Park?
Businesses including Gandies, Two Fellers Tree Surgery, Transform Hub Worcester, Instant Scenery and Ignite Fulfilment have already moved into the park, highlighting strong demand for flexible, modern commercial space.
The site also reflects a growing emphasis on sustainability, featuring renewable biomass energy, photovoltaic panels, electric vehicle charging points and cycle facilities.
Alice Forbes, marketing and operations manager at Kempsey Eco Business Park, said: “We know that the availability of suitable commercial premises is an important issue for local businesses.

“The final phase of development providing additional units is due to start in October and we are already talking to a great pipeline of new tenants.”
Malvern Hills District Council’s economic development team have also supported businesses looking to establish, expand or invest in the area, offering property advice, access to funding and broader business support.
The Malvern Hills Growth Fund provides grants of between £500 and £15,000 to eligible local SMEs for projects that support expansion, productivity improvements, job creation or increased turnover.
