A MUCH-loved farm shop and visitor attraction is closing its farm shop and farm park after 25 years.
Top Barn Farm Shop and Farm Park in Holt Heath has welcomed generations of families and visitors from across Worcestershire and beyond.
Owners Mike and Joanna Harper said the decision followed careful consideration of the business’s future and the investment required in the building.

Mr Harper said: “This has been an incredibly difficult decision for us to make.
“Top Barn has been such a huge part of our lives, and we know that it has also become an important place for many families and members of our local community.
“We have made so many wonderful memories over the years, from seeing generations of families visit us, to watching children grow up coming to the farm.
“We are incredibly grateful to every single person who has supported us, visited us, shopped with us and helped make the farm what it is today.”

The closure will take place on October 31 to mark the end of half term and the Pumpkin Patch.
Mr Harper said the decision was influenced by the need to invest in the building and a desire to consider their work-life balance.
The family extended thanks to their staff, suppliers, local businesses, customers and visitors for their support over the years.

Mr Harper said: “We know this news will be disappointing for many people, and it has been a very emotional time for us too.
“We want to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey.

“We will always be incredibly proud of what we have created here and of the memories that have been made.”
Top Barn Farm Shop has served the community for 25 years, with the farm park operating for 15 years.
The site has offered visitors a chance to enjoy the countryside, meet the animals, explore the farm park and shop for locally produced food and products.
The site will open up in December for the sale of Christmas Trees in the outside area which will continue to be sold from the farm on a yearly basis.
