Pilates business finds new home after 16 years

A Pilates business is relocating its full day of classes after 16 years at its current venue.

Me..time Pilates, based in Worcestershire and founded by instructor Amanda Griffiths in 2009, will move its seven-class Monday schedule to The Holt Fleet in Worcester from November 2.

It follows the retirement of the owner of The Crown & Sandys in Ombersley and a change of ownership.

Ms Griffiths said: “Finding somewhere for one class would have been relatively straightforward.

“Finding somewhere able to accommodate seven established classes throughout the day and evening, while keeping us in the same local area, was a much bigger challenge.

“The Holt Fleet gives us everything I was hoping to find: plenty of parking, a spacious and beautiful room, excellent facilities and a wonderful setting.

“Most importantly, it allows our Monday community to move together.”

The new venue offers a spacious teaching room, direct parking access, heating and cooling for year-round comfort, plus a covered riverside terrace and secret garden area which could be used for summer classes.

Ms Griffiths said: “Although this change wasn’t something I originally planned, I’m now incredibly excited about it.

“It feels less like replacing one venue with another and much more like the beginning of the next chapter for ‘Me..time’.

“After so many years at the Crown & Sandys, leaving will undoubtedly feel strange, and I’m enormously grateful to Nick and the team for the support they have given both me and the business.”

Me..time Pilates specialises in small-group Mat Pilates, focusing on individual guidance, personal feedback and long-term participation.

The business welcomes both experienced clients and complete beginners.

Monday classes will continue at the Crown & Sandys until October 19, with the first full Monday programme at The Holt Fleet launching on November 2.

Places are currently available in selected classes.
