Driver banned after breaking 30mph and 50mph speed limits

A DRIVER been banned after breaking 30mph and 50mph speed limits.

Robert Sheard, from South Littleton, was clocked at 35mph on St Enoch’s Road in Bradford, which is a 30mph road.

On the same day, he was recorded driving at 62mph on the M606 southbound, which has a speed limit of 50mph.

The 56-year-old appeared at  Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on Friday, October 2, where he pleaded guilty to two counts of speeding.

He was banned from driving for six months, fined £288, as well as being ordered to pay £130 in costs and a £115 surcharge.

Sheard, of Main Street, South Littleton, was also given three notional penalty points for each count of speeding.
