Worcestershire construction director named runner-up in national award

A Worcestershire construction director has taken second place in a national industry award.

Jonathan Field, director of J Field Construction Ltd, took second place in the Project Manager of the Year category at the National Construction Awards 2026.

The result was announced during a ceremony in London on Friday, October 9.

His company carries out extensions, renovations and construction projects in Worcester and across Worcestershire.

Mr Field said: “Coming away with second place at a national level is a huge achievement, and something we are incredibly proud of. To see how far we have come as a company makes this a particularly special moment.”

“Behind every project and every step forward are people who give their time, trust and support. I would like to personally thank all our clients, past and present, and those choosing us for their future projects. Their confidence in us has helped us grow.”

The award marks a milestone for the firm, which provides building services for homes and businesses.

The firm also works on commercial projects and aims to manage each job from start to completion.

He added: “My biggest thank you goes to my wife, Annabel, along with Tom Samson, Barry Brookes and Sharon Gandy.

“They have been by my side every step of the way, supporting me, pushing me and guiding me. This achievement means so much because I know how much they have contributed to the journey.”

“We are proud to work across Worcestershire, and this recognition gives us even more motivation to keep improving and building on what we have achieved.”
