AN AREA of natural beauty on Worcestershire’s doorstep has been named among the UK’s best places to buy a holiday home.
The Cotswolds, which stretch into Worcestershire and are within easy reach of Worcester, has been named on a list compiled by Together Travel alongside well-known holiday hotspots including Cornwall, the Lake District, and the Scottish Highlands.
The Cotswolds cover a vast area of countryside across several counties, with the protected Cotswolds National Landscape extending into Worcestershire and southern Warwickshire in the north.

It added: “Here, you will find idyllic villages, busy market towns, glorious countryside, and plenty to see and do.
“Driving is the best option for travelling through the Cotswolds, as there are many parts unreachable by public transport, but getting to the Cotswolds is easier than travelling to some other holiday regions.
