PLANS for an “overbearing” extension have been rejected by Worcester City Council.
The authority had been asked to approve proposals for a six-metre long extension at the back of 52 Carlisle Road in Ronkswood.
But planning officers said: “The proposed extension would project six metres beyond the rear elevation of the dwelling and would be positioned close to the shared boundary with 60 Carlisle Road.”
They said it would restrict the amount of sunlight getting to a neighbouring property and would “result in an unacceptable loss of outlook and sunlight and an overbearing impact.”
