CARS were seized by police as officers stopped 22 drivers for a range of offences on the motorway, including no insurance and illegal window tints.
The checks took place on the northbound side of the M5 at Strensham Services and were carried out by police from the Operational Patrol Unit, working with other partners.
Photos, shared by West Mercia Roads Policing, show cars, including an Audi, being taken away on recovery vehicles.
Officers stopped 22 vehicles and issued eight prohibitions, including three for unsafe loads, three for excessively tinted glass, one for no seatbelt, and one for a defective tyre.
