A FRAUDSTER who made £28,000 through a series of cons across Worcestershire has been jailed.
Stephen Hodgkins carried out his fraudulent schemes of getting people to pay for work to their homes before disappearing with the money for 16 months.
The 56-year-old, of no fixed abode, was sentenced for nine counts of fraud by false representation at Worcester Crown Court on Thursday (October 15).
Hodgkins’ schemes included offering to clean a man’s gutters and double glazing for £3,000 when no work was done, and receiving £9,336 after completing minimal work to another home.
He targeted residents of Malvern, Worcester, Droitwich, Stourport, and Kidderminster between April 2025 and August 2026.
