Driver fined for ignoring city centre traffic lights

A DRIVER has been fined for ignoring traffic lights near Worcester city centre.

Automatic cameras caught Greville Jones, 73, going through red lights on Foregate Street on two separate occasions.

He pleaded guilty to two counts of failing to comply with red light signals at Worcester Magistrates’ Court, where he was fined £156 and given six points on his licence, as well as £130 in costs.

Jones, of Newport Street, Worcester, was also fined £157 and given five points for a single count of speeding on Malvern Road, Leigh Sinton.
