A PLANE was spotted making an emergency landing near Malvern.
Firefighters and an air ambulance were called to a field off the A449 near The Wellington Inn on Saturday morning (May 2), where a light aircraft had landed.
It’s thought that the plane may have encountered a problem with a banner it was carrying.

“All I know is the plane took off from the field later, so it would appear the banner was the problem,” a spokesperson for the pub said.
Crews from Ledbury and Malvern fire stations were sent to the scene.
“We took the first call at 11am on Saturday morning,” a fire service spokesperson said.
“A crew from Ledbury attended with a fire engine, along with a drone. Malvern also attended with a pump, a Land Rover and an officer.
“One light aircraft made an emergency landing. No emergency system was activated and we weren’t needed.”
