A KEEN outdoor swimmer at an Evesham beauty spot is inviting people to join a summer charity ball.
Karen Williams MBE, who is a regular at the Lenches Lakes, and her charity Escape Arts are joining Men Walking and Talking for the event.
The fundraiser at the Crowne Plaza in Stratford-upon-Avon on July 24 includes a three-course dinner, wine on the table and a disco with ‘Jason the Spaceman’.
The organisers said: “Expect fairy lights, riverside views, great food, dancing and wonderful company: all while raising vital funds to support community wellbeing, mental health, creativity and connection.

Escape Arts is based in Warwickshire but is building connections across the Midlands through creative health, community wellbeing and environmental action.
Karen, the charity’s CEO, is currently training for a charity swim at the Lenches as part of the organisation’s Miles for Smiles fundraising challenge.
