A POPULAR Indian restaurant and takeaway is set to reopen later today after a month-long closure.
Monti’s Indian Restaurant and Takeaway on Wyld’s Lane will reopen today (August 26) at 4.30pm with a new menu, new chef and ‘new everything’.
The Wyld’s Lane eatery has been closed for around a month ever since being bought by Samia Tanny.

Ms Tanny, who is originally from Bangladesh but lives in Worcester, said: “I have another Indian takeaway, and I had been thinking about opening another one.
“Everyone in the area knows Montis, and it’s a good location for a restaurant and takeaway.
“The restaurant is in a very quiet setting, which I like, and I want to sell curries.
“We have changed everything.
“We have changed the menu; we have changed everything.
“The chef, the team, everything is new.
“I bought Monti’s on July 27, so the restaurant has been closed for around a month.
“Customers can bring their own alcohol.
“We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back. Please come and try us.”
Speculation had built about when the Wyld’s Lane curry house would reopen ever since a sign appeared on the door in early August stating: ‘Temporarily closed. Under new management. Opening soon.
