Home on city street could almost double in size

A HOME on a city street could almost double in size.

The property in Red Hill could be getting major extensions.

A proposal submitted to Worcester City Council for 75 Sebright Avenue includes a single-storey front extension, a first-floor extension above the existing garage, a two-storey rear extension, and an increase in the property’s ridge height.

If approved, the plans would increase the home’s floor space from 153 to 282 square metres.

The planning statement said: “The proposal constitutes sustainable, high-quality residential development that accords with the objectives of the National Planning Policy Framework and the adopted Worcester City Development Plan.”
