A firm has “proudly” supported a much-loved BBC show in helping to transform a family’s home in Bewdley.
The final episode of the programme’s 35th series follows a family, whose everyday lives revolve around keeping their son Nathan safe.
Living with a complex medical condition and experiencing up to 200 seizures a day, Nathan needs round-the-clock care.

Nathan lives with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC), a rare genetic condition that causes benign tumours to develop in different parts of the body.
He also has epilepsy, autism and global developmental delay, placing significant demands on his parents as they care for him full-time.
With Nathan’s bedroom on the first floor, helping him move safely around the house was becoming increasingly difficult.
The demands of caring for him full-time also left the family with little time to spend with his older sister.
The family needed a home that better met Nathan’s needs while giving all four of them more opportunities to spend time together.
That’s where the BBC’s DIY SOS team stepped in, bringing together local tradespeople, businesses and volunteers to transform the property into a safer, more accessible family home.
Wren, which has a store based in Kidderminster, joined the build team, donating and installing a new kitchen and utility room, complete with worktops, storage, sinks, a cooker and an extractor.

The new spaces form part of a wider transformation designed to make everyday family life more manageable and give the family more room to spend time together.
Speaking about the project, Matthew Weatherill, Head of Contracts Installations, said: “The whole team was hugely proud to play a part in the Kidderminster build. As well as fitting the kitchen and utility, our colleagues worked alongside everyone else on site to get the house ready for Nathan and his family.
“Seeing Nathan back at home in a space that works better for him made it a very special project for everyone involved.”
The episode airs tonight (Tuesday, October 27) on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
