A MAN has denied causing the death of a woman in a crash on the outskirts of Malvern.
Jacob Quinn, 37, appeared at Worcester Crown Court to input his plea for causing death by dangerous driving, and cause death by due care and failing to provide specimen.
Quinn, of Jamaica Road, Malvern, is alleged to have caused the death of Valerie Hopkins after he drove dangerously on Stocks Lane, Newland, on January 8, 2026.
Quinn is also alleged to have failed to provide a sample of blood to be analysed within 18 hours of the crash.

Emergency services were called to Stocks Lane, between Malvern and Leigh Sinton on Thursday, January 8, after a crash involving a Volkswagen ID4 and a Mercedes A160.
A man in his 50s also suffered life-changing injuries following the crash.
Quinn will now go to trial and will next appear in crown court on December 4, 2026.
The trial is expected to last five days.
