A MAN who drove his car on the M5 in Worcestershire while it was in a dangerous condition has been sentenced
Mohammed Safir Khan, of Tile Cross Road, appeared at Worcester Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (July 23), where he admitting four driving offences committed on on July 30, 2025.
Khan drove a Ford on the motorway between junction 5 (Droitwich) and junction 6 (Worcester) when it was discovered his front right tyre had worn down to the cord, his front left tyre had less than 1.6 millimetres of tread, and children in the car had not been restrained with seatbelts properly.

Driving with the cord of a tyre showing can result in a tyre blowout, while a lack of tread depth can make it easier to lose control of the vehicle in wet conditions.
It was also found that Khan was driving without due care and attention.
The 39-year-old was fined £216 and received a total of five penalty points for the offences.
