A MAN who committed fraud by using someone else’s card in a corner shop has been sentenced.
Mustafe Omar, of the Fownes Hotel, Claire Street, Worcester, appeared at Telford Magistrates’ Court on Friday (April 24) charged with fraud by false representation and failing to surrender to court at appointed time.
The 24-year-old used a bank card belonging to someone else to spend £16.99 at Wilford Grove Stores, Wilford Crescent West, Nottingham on October 13, 2025.

On November 4, 2025, after being arrested, charged, and released on bail, Omar failed to surrender for appearance at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court .
He was ordered to pay £16.99 in compensation for the fraud, which he must pay by Friday, May 22.
