To celebrate the season, the conservation charity has curated a list of Worcestershire’s top trails and scenic spots where autumn truly comes alive.

Hanbury Hall

Hanbury Hall is a historic parkland with crisp autumnal walks, where you can admire lime, oak, and elm trees awash with vibrant colour.

Visitors can enjoy routes that lead through the remains of an ancient forest, passing impressive early eighteenth-century design features including the Semi-Circle, Long Walk, and Lime Tree Walk.

The site also offers mindful photography workshops for those who are keen to brush up on their autumn photography skills.

Croome

Croome offers landscaped gardens with autumnal views over the Malvern Hills as they take on a golden glow.

Rescued from near loss, the parkland today – with its serpentine river, tree-lined lake, and elegant garden buildings – offers a perfect setting to embrace the season and connect with nature.

The site offers self-led walks and a garden tour exploring Croome’s history, design, plants, and statues in an hour’s stroll, led by one of its knowledgeable volunteers.
