A neighbourhood celebrated the school holidays with a week-long Easter-themed event.
Families in Dines Green spent the first week of the break following Dinesfest trail maps, searching for pictures of lettered eggs in windows and solving clues to create an Easter phrase.
On Bank Holiday Monday, local councillors and the Mayor of Worcester participated in the festive conclusion at The Green Hub.
Children exchanged their completed forms for chocolate eggs here.
The Easter Bunny and Sidney the Dinesfest bear also entertained children, participating in activities like hula hooping, indoor clay craft with Scala Arts, and crafting Spring headbands with volunteers from the Manor Park Church holiday club.
The Dinesfest group is a resident-led community organisation supported by local churches, the Green Community Hub, Honeywell Primary School, the Tudor Way Family Hub, and local councillors.
Originally formed to commemorate the estate’s seventieth anniversary, the group has expanded to organise a variety of community events throughout the year.
More details of their future events can be found on their Facebook page.
