A brand-new café is set to open at a nature reserve in Kidderminster.
Richard and Rani Davies launched Café R&R from a mobile coffee trailer last year started hearing stories from visitors about how they missed the old café at Habberley Valley.
When the opportunity came up to move into a permanent café, The Coffee Hut at Habberley Valley Nature Reserve, it felt like a “big change” but also a “natural next step” for the couple.
Richard Davies said: “We’re incredibly excited about this new chapter and the launch of The Coffee Hut. Since we started at Habberley Valley, we’ve heard so many stories from local people about the old café and how much they missed having somewhere here to meet, relax and enjoy a coffee.
“When the opportunity came along to move into the permanent café building, it felt like a natural next step for us. We’d love The Coffee Hut to become a real part of the local community – somewhere familiar and welcoming where walkers, families, dog owners and friends can come together and enjoy this beautiful setting.”
The business will now be known as The Coffee Hut and is set to open on Saturday (August 22) from 7am to 3pm.
To celebrate the opening, all drinks will be just £2 for the day and dogs will get a free Pup Cup for visiting.
The Coffee Hut will offer freshly made coffee and other hot and cold drinks, alongside light bites, cakes and treats, all in the lovely surroundings of Habberley Valley.
Everyone is welcome to attend the launch day and celebrate the start of a new chapter for the business.
Mr Davies said: “Whether you’re out for an early morning walk, meeting friends or bringing the dog for an adventure, pop in and say hello.
“We’re really looking forward to opening the doors and seeing where this new venture takes us.”
