Owners of new town centre café and bar thank community for ‘incredible support’

The owners of a new café and bar in the heart of Kidderminster have thanked the community for its “incredible support” since opening.

Jess Savva and Joel Spencer said the response to The Courtyard by Savva, located inside Kidderminster Town Hall, has been “overwhelmingly positive” with guests praising the relaxed atmosphere and carefully curated food and drinks.

The owners wanted to create a vibrant hub for the town centre with the new café offering a warm space for morning coffee and evening cocktails.

Jess and Joel said: “From day one, the support from the Kidderminster community has been incredible.

“We wanted The Courtyard to be a place people can enjoy all day whether it’s morning coffee, a casual lunch, pizza with friends or cocktails in the evening.

“Seeing everyone enjoy it has been amazing.”

The Courtyard has been described as “more than a café” with visitors able to enjoy freshly brewed coffee, light lunches, a menu of artisanal pizzas and small plates alongside wines, local brews and creative cocktails.

The venue also prides itself on working with local suppliers and producers, including Birmingham Brewing Company, Bewdley Brewery, Brew 61 in Bromsgrove, Attic in Stirchley, Ceci Hill and Peter Cooks Bread in Bromyard.

The wine is supplied by BM Wines in Warwick and English sparkling wine made in Staffordshire is an alternative to traditional champagne.

Over the coming months, guests can also look forward to a rich calendar of events, themed nights, pop-ups, and community gatherings.

Seasonal menus and collaborations with local producers will continue to highlight the very best of the region.
