Flooding has hit roads in Bromsgrove overnight with water reaching shin height.
Perryfields Road has been closed since Sunday night (August 30) after heavy rainfall caused flooding across the road.
Councillor Nikolas Price shared videos and photos from the scene and said the water levels were “reaching up to my shins”.

He said: “I’m at Perryfields Road this morning. Water levels have dropped overnight, but they remain high and are still reaching up to my shins when walking through.
“Rainwater has breached from the development onto Perryfields Road from the field nearest the Holiday Inn, as shown in the photos. The road is covered in mud, sand, stones and other debris that has been carried into the floodwater.
“Perryfields Road remains closed. Despite the closure, vehicles are still coming down the road and driving through the water.
“Please do not take the risk. You cannot see what is beneath the water, and there are rocks, sand and other debris across the road. Anyone ignoring the closure and driving through does so at their own risk.
“Please stay safe, avoid the area and use an alternative route. I will continue monitoring the situation and provide further updates.”
The A38 was also closed due to flooding near the KFC traffic lights and Morrisons roundabout.
People are being advised not to drive through the flood water.
